When teeth and gums are healthy, it is recommended by the American Dental Association that adults and children visit the dentist and have their teeth professionally cleaned and examined twice a year. For patients with gum disease, professional cleaning is recommended every 3-4 months, as well as for those with special dental needs, such as children undergoing orthodontic treatment (i.e., braces). If you are unsure how often you should visit the dentist, we would be glad to assist.

At Kinsey Smiles, we take most dental PPO insurances and will work with you to maximize your benefits. To expedite the insurance claim process, be sure to bring your membership card, member number, information about the insured (it might be your spouse or parent), and any other pertinent information.

We use digital X-rays and intraoral cameras, so it is easy for us to provide your insurance company with additional information electronically when they request it.

Since there are so many different plans available, it is a good idea to review your coverage before moving forward with treatment. We will do our best to estimate what your insurance will cover along with any out-of-pocket expenses so you can avoid unwelcome financial surprises. You can even contact your insurance company ahead of time to determine if a certain procedure will be covered.

If you have questions about your benefits, the cost of your treatment, or ways to fit your dentistry into your budget, give our dental office a call. Our knowledgeable team is always willing to help.

No insurance? No problem! Talk to us about our flexible payment options and our in-house Wellness Program to make it easy to fit your dental treatment into your budget.

New patients are always welcome at Kinsey Smiles. We proudly offer quality dentistry to new patients of all ages. In order to make your new patient experience a convenient one, we reserve several appointment times each week just for our new patients, so you do not have to wait several weeks or more to arrange your initial exam.

At your comprehensive exam, Dr. Kinsey will perform a tooth-by-tooth inspection to identify any conditions that may require treatment. He will also make sure that your gums are completely healthy. After all, healthy gums are important for a healthy smile.

Dr. Kinsey will also evaluate the health of your jaw and bite. Your jaw health and the comfort of your teeth depend on this entire larger system to work properly.

Once Dr. Kinsey has a complete picture of your current oral health, he will schedule you back for a sit-down consult to go over your conditions and treatment options and answer your questions so you can proceed in a way that works best for you. If you have cosmetic concerns, he is happy to help you get the smile you have always wanted.

We always respect the decisions you make. After all, it is your smile!

When you refer your friends and family to our office, it is the highest compliment we can receive.
