Meet Jerica, RDA, BSBA
Jerica is a professional and skilled member of our dental staff who likes assisting patients along the way. She hails from Sacramento, California, and relocated to Georgia in 2005. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, earned in 2008. Her experience as a student and the practice of dentistry prepare her to work effectively with the dental staff and patients.
Jerica has been working in dentistry for 19 years as a chairside dental assistant. For the last 7 years, she has also taken on the role of Treatment Coordinator. She advises patients regarding their treatment plans, gets their appointments scheduled, and helps maximize their dental benefits. Jerica believes that understanding dental care should be simpler and more accessible for all.
One of the things Jerica enjoys most about her job is helping patients feel at ease. She is aware that dental visits can be painful for some people, so she takes time to explain things straightforwardly and answer all the questions. Be it routine checkups or something even more involved in the treatment plan, Jerica will always make you feel supported and informed.
She is also in close cooperation with the insurance company so that the patients can get maximum benefits from their coverage. From describing what is covered to assisting with paperwork, she is a dependable resource anyone can count on. Jerica enjoys working with patients of all ages and prides herself on being someone that patients can trust.
She believes in building long-lasting relationships with patients and always treats everyone with kindness and respect. Her warm and welcoming personality makes her a favourite among both patients and team members.
Outside of work, Jerica enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and spending time with her family and friends. She always believes in balancing a healthy lifestyle, and it also inspires her to do that in the office.
